TWO DOWN. SEVEN TO GO.

Blair has to be kept in power for when the Iran War starts. Therefore if anything threatens his leadership ie loans, it must be removed from the public mind. So, do you cook up a bogus plot?

From http://news.independent.co.uk/uk/crime/article2245696.ece

In a statement after their release from Coventry's Chace Avenue police station in the early hours of today, the men said there had been no mention to them by police of a plot to kidnap or behead any soldier.

Their solicitor Gareth Peirce said: "They have left the police station without any better understanding of why they were there than when they first arrived seven days ago.

"Not a word was ever mentioned to either of them about a plot to kidnap or the grizzly suggestion of a beheading or even of a soldier at all.

"Both have been met with a consistent refusal over seven days for any explanation for their arrest.

"They are convinced that others in the police station must be
as innocent as they and urge that they also be swiftly released."

One more released, one still being questioned, and the other five have been charged with offences releating to the terrorism acts 2000 and 2006.

The timing of the arrests was 'interesting', the leaking of information and just plain fabrications in the media, and the lack of serious questioning of the two who were released first implies to me that the alleged plot, if it does exist, is being used for political purposes.

If three have been released without charge then the intelligence could not have been that accurate.

I can believe that some plots do exist, and that those that do exist are a result of our foreign policies.

But the media fabricating stories related to the arrests puts any subsequent trial in jeopardy, doesn't it?
