DESPERATE ATTEMPTS TO DEMONIZE ASSAD AHEAD OF UN SC VOTE

Just as the UN Security Council is about to vote on a resolution on Syria several claims are made that implicate Assad in atrocities.

Earlier this week there were reports of another massacre in Homs. Video placed on You Tube showed the corpses of men, women and children, with a bullet to the head or with their throats cut.
The Guardian is reporting that the Syrian Network for Human Rights has posted this video of a massacre at Khirbat Altin, Homs.

Remember that word, cutthroat, as you watch this video.

Now the British government is claiming that it has evidence of the use of chemical weapons in Syria...but is not sure which chemicals were used! Or of who used them! And the manner in which the sample was allegedly taken raises all sorts of questions about interference and fraud.
The UK Ministry of Defense has claimed that chemical weapons were used in the Syrian conflict. Forensic evidence was collected after scientists analyzed soil smuggled out of the country in a secret British operation, the Times reported.

...Military scientists said the soil contained traces of “some kind of chemical weapon,” though they could not positively identify the type of weaponized chemical.

And the Syrian al Qaeda rebs are now claiming that Assad forces dropped gas bombs from a helicopter killing a woman and two children. The source for this claim is the now totally discredited Coventry-based one-man-band Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Witnesses say two gas bombs dropped on Aleppo from an army helicopter; Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says woman and two children killed; another airstrike kills 12 civilians in Idlib province, the group adds.

But guess what? These criminal shenanigans are having no effect whatsoever, and indeed may well be adding evidence to the theory that something big and terrible always always always seems to happen just before a vote at the UN SC which is always always always blamed on Assad. No doubt these latest allegations will be proven false too, just like previous allegations.

Russia is having none of it.
Moscow will vote against an “obviously biased” new UN draft resolution on Syria, the Russian Foreign Ministry says.

According to the foreign ministry’s Saturday statement, the document to be put to vote at the UN General Assembly is “full of conflicting terms.”

The ministry said that the resolution blames Damascus entirely for the situation in Syria while failing to acknowledge the terrorist activities being carried out in the country, as well as the logistical and financial support foreign-backed militants are receiving.

The foreign ministry further added that the resolution is seeking the approval of the General Assembly to overthrow the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
