GIVE SYRIZA A CHANCE

Having read the analyses of WSWS of the recent Greek elections I was a bit sceptical of Syriza, particularly after the Independent Greeks were given the defence ministry. My concern was that the military could be used by them in some way in opposition to or detrimental to the interests of a free Greece. And Syriza were not voted in with a massive vote of confidence from the Greeks themselves, were they? Less than 40% of a small turn out? In times of such cruel and brutal austerity?

But after listening to Webster Tarpley on INN I think that Russia should assist Syriza as suggested by Tarpley, if not more, and that Syriza should be given a chance to show what they can do.

There is a danger of a NATO coup in Greece. But the appointment of Kammenos is of some concern. It makes sense that an anti-German party could be a good ally against the EU and in particular against Germany. But why the military?

But still, Russia should get in there and forge very strong alliances and partnerships with Greece asap.
