Susan Pederson is right: Sir Eric Drummond, Secretary General of the League of Nations for 13 years, is an overlooked insider. Before running the LoN, Drummon was private secretary to Sir Warmonger Grey, PM Asquith, and Lord Zionist Balfour. He also attended the conference at Versailles after WW1.
