COLLOMB STATES ABEDI HAD PROVEN CONNECTIONS TO ISLAMIC STATE IN SYRIA

The British media this morning is full of speculation about Abedi's links to Libya, possibly to the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group.

But think about this: it was the USA who released Abedi's name.

And now France, through their Interior Minister Gerard Collomb, says that Abedi had proven links to the Islamic State in Syria.

And Amber Rudd has confirmed that Abedi was known to the security services "up to a point".

So I ask again: how do they know about Abedi? What was he on the periphery of?
