THEN AND NOW : TRUMP'S SHOCKING BUT PREDICTABLE FOREIGN POLICY

On Russia

Then : said it was all gonna be great with Putin
Now : slaps sanctions left, right and centre on Russia

On Syria

Then : tweeted dozens of times ordering Obama to stay out of Syria.
Now : at the first opportunity he bombs Syria, killing Syrian military personnel and civilians, shoots Syrian Air Force fighter jets and drones out of the sky, and is now building bases in Syria.

On Afghanistan

Then : tweeted dozens of times that the war in Afghanistan was a disaster and the USA should get out.
Now : is sending an initial 4000 military personnel back to the future in Afghanistan, vowing to kill terrorists who used Afghanistan to launch 9/11 (when Trump should be looking closer to home, say, Langley?).

On the Korean Peninsula

Then : tweeted several times that South Korea was ripping America off, and shows no concern over North Korea.
Now : preparing for war on North Korea, sending US Navy carrier strike groups to the region, increasing US naval presence in the South China Sea, and plonks the THAAD system in South Korea.

On Venezuela

Then : supported US agents such as Leopoldo Lopez.
Now : threatens war because a few people are dying on the streets (while he assists Saudi Arabia commit genocide in Yemen).

On drones

Then : few complaints about Obama's drone policy, except for Obama allegedly allowing Iran to hand a US drone to China.
Now : hands oversight of drones from the military to the CIA so that drone strikes and civilian deaths are not reported.

On Iran

Then : at AIPAC 2016 bowed before the Zionists and vowed to rip up the P5+1 deal.
Now : is demanding evidence from US intel to be used to rip up the P5+1 deal.

On Saudi Arabia

Then : accused Saudi Arabia of 9/11 and of ripping off America
Now : does the Saudi Sword Dance thang with the Saudis, agrees a $350 billion weapons and defence deal with the Saudis, and forges an anti-terror alliance with the Saudis (who did 9/11 and unleashed the Jihadis) against Iran (who didn't do 9/11 and is fighting the Jihadis).

On Yemen

Then : mocks Obama's policy on Yemen after alleged Iran allies, the Houthis, took control and forced Yemen President Hadi to flee to Riyadh
Now : is flogging the Saudis hundreds of billions of weapons and refuels Saudi bombers in mid-air to help Saudi Arabia take control of Yemen

So, in conclusion, Trump has:
1. taken the usual side of Saudi Arabia against Iran when it was the Saudis who did 9/11 and unleashed the Jihadis, not Iran;
2. significantly expanded the US presence in South East Asia (i.e. expanded Obama's pivot to Asia);
3. empowered the CIA to strike at will using drones, a policy considered to be a recruiting sergeant for Jihadis;
4. fallen for War Party propaganda and is going back to Afghanistan;
5. expanded US presence in Syria.

Now that's what I call a betrayal.

But how much worse would it be under Clinton?

Or better under Sanders?
